V. is a non-profit organisation based in Berlin, aiming to support contemporary improvised music. We are a group of musicians, pedagogues, students and event technicians offering open spaces and creating niches for temporary or permanent events. The variety of different events, such as music lessons and therapy, international encounters, and open sessions, provides impulses for new synergies, which deepen the cultural exchange on a local and international level. We are concerned with the constructive, reasonable applied creativity that emanates from the natural, organic curiosity of the free individual. To encourage this, and to provide a context for communication and enhancement of the self-confidence is our primary aim. For years we have organised sessions, concerts, workshops, filmprojects and other forms of applied creativity in various institutions. In the future we hope to expand our non-profit (net)work in collaboration with supporting organizations and foundations and to set up a mobile workshop as well as a TuneUP Loft to actively reach children, youths and interested adults of different nationalities and cultural backgrounds.dazu technik im studio
